Gathering Goji's Goodness
Freelife International's proprietary spectral signature LBP Process ensures that Goji's greatest gifts - It's uniquely powerful, health-promoting polysaccharides - are captured at peak levels and in perfect balance in every bottle of Himalayan Goji Juice, every time.
An Internet search for Lycium barbarum on the U.S. National Library of Medicine's encyclopedic PubMed website returns dozens of research citations on the goji berry. A significant majority of these studies have been conducted on goji's bio-active molecules, the Lycium barbarum polysaccharides (LBPs). Research is showing that there are many types of LBPs; each work in a different way with their own distinct health benefits. They are all important, but it is difficult to find berries that contain the whole range of these protective compounds. Depending on growing conditions, geography, and other factors, the LBP content and composition of the goji berry can vary tremendously. It became clear to us that to consistently deliver the goji berry's health benefits, we needed to develop a way to maximize, standardize, and balance the LBP content in each serving of Himalayan Goji Juice. In the same way that human fingerprints can be used to distinguise one person from another, a laboratory spectrometer can detect differences between berries and create a "fingerprint" at the molecular level. Using this technique, FreeLife International became the first any only company to develop a scientific fingerprinting technique - a "Spectral Signature" of the goji berry's LBPs. Our Spectral Signature LBP Process enables us to acheive what no other company can do: identify, isolate, and harvest only those berries that can deliver the full spectrum of LBPs. Every step in this unique process maximizes the high potency and perfect balance of the full-spectrum of the LBPs in every bottle of Himalayan Goji Juice. |
